Walking in the Fields – The Woodlands and Spring Family Photographer

This family of four was so adorable, and the setting was just perfect for their family photos! A field of autumn color that feels so warm was exactly the right location to reflect the warm of family, as they walk hand in hand together – one of my favourite kind of shots for family portraits! I like to mix in some relaxed and natural photos, in with portraits. Gift Prints and Wall Art – Your Collections Guide

After your session is complete and you’ve chosen your favourites it’s time to decide – what exactly will I *do* with them?

Premium Collections include digital images as well as a print credit. What this means is that you have money to spend- and it’s YOUR choice.  So what exactly are “gift prints” and “wall art”?

Gift prints range from 8×12 to wallet size, for your mantle frames and grad announcements.  These are the ones you share with Grandma and preserve in albums.  I offer a set of five as a Gift Print Set for a special price.

Your Collection may also come with mounted Wall Art, or you can use your print credit. “Wall Art” are larger pieces to display in your home or office.
This can be a print you’ll have framed, or you can choose to have mounted and UV protected through me, as a complimentary upgrade. Or perhaps you prefer the elegance of a canvas, or an edgy true metal print, with your image transferred onto protective metal.


Where your final images will be displayed and how you will share them is an important part of the decision process.  Every time you walk by that large canvas on the wall, and see the faces of the ones you love the most, you’ll be glad you did.

Portraits at Home – The Woodlands Fall Family Photographer

Our lives are busy and when the holidays are just around the corner, it gets even busier! One thing on your to do list is sending out Christmas cards to family and friends, and it takes planning and time. One thing that can make your life a little easier, if you have a well lit space around your home property, is to save time and effort by having your family portraits done right at home!

This helps especially when you have small children and dogs, so you give them a little time to relax between takes, with access to their toys, a space to play, and of course, those doggie treats!

Look around your property at the time the shoot will be, and see if you have a nicely lit (open shade, not in direct sunlight) space with no distractions. A backdrop of trees is always pretty, to add some festive greenery. If you have that perfect spot, fantastic! That can definitely make the holiday card photoshoot a little easier for everyone!

Choose from several print packages, such as the ever popular set of 5 gift prints. Choose the same 5 sizes or choose 5 different print sizes – sets of wallets,  5×7 or 8×10 — no restrictions on size combinations!

If you need wallet size prints, pick up a value package of wallet prints for senior announcements or for sharing with family. I also offer several  larger family packages that include small prints for framing and sharing, and a larger print for the wall.
