For the second part of this senior session, we had the most beautiful light in the field! This senior has a very pretty, feminine personal style (she told me she LOVES bows!) so the overall style, props and poses were cute and girly to match her adorable smile.  This session was all  soft colours, lace and billowy dresses, natural soft light and sunshine, and this pretty little lace umbrella I brought for the session for her to pose with.  She was a natural with her big blue eyes and delicate posing! So many of the images from her senior session ended up in prints, as portraits and in her senior announcements. I’m always pleased to see beautiful client images come to life in prints and products!

For the second half of this senior session in the Woodlands, this Woodlands High School senior brought this gorgeous peach dress with a lace overlay for pretty portraits in the spring flowers. She brought along this special family quilt, to personalize her senior session with personal items, which is always a nice touch for your portrait session! She also wanted to take headshots and a full length portrait for her for rushing for sorority at her chosen university, so we set aside some time to make sure she had some gorgeous pictures for submission. And finally, a few shots with her school ring as a keepsake to remember her accomplishments senior year. This session was full of special items and moments!

This gorgeous senior session is one of my all time favourites, for the amazing light we had during her senior session and the perfect styling! This Woodlands senior had the fantastic luck to have a gorgeous day for her senior portraits, with the golden sun glowing at sundown and all the flowers recently in bloom, adding up to a pretty romantic setting to match her dress! Bringing along a few accessories, like this pretty white spring hat, adds more variety to your session and some fashion flair.

The second half of this senior’s session was full of beautiful golden sunlight, with flowers in the field. The first half of her session was more fun and dramatic, so for the second half she chose some pretty, girly outfits to match the field location in spring colours. The red dress is perfect against the greenery, and the blue sundress was the special highlight outfit of her session, a touch of boho for her senior portraits with a carefree vibe.  It all came together for a perfect spring senior session!

This beautiful senior chose a natural field location for the second half of her senior portraits, after shooting some more urban and dramatic shots around the Woodlands area streets and squares. It’s always nice to have a lot of variety in your senior portraits, from different locations to outfit changes, which is why I encourage you bring as many outfits as you can fit into your senior session!

Blue is a colour I always recommend, it photographs beautifully and matches a natural location outdoors. Like this beautiful blue spring dress! Peach and coral also photograph and match a field location really well, like this senior’s beautiful vintage inspired blouse.

Beautiful, glowing light on the field made for some stunning senior portraits for this Woodlands High School grad, and her outfit was perfectly matched for the location! This sweet and adorable Woodlands High School senior wanted to incorporate her musical talent as a band member for her senior portraits, using her musical instruments as a prop for her senior session. I always encourage this kind of personalized session details, to make your senior portraits really reflect you and your talents! She chose two pretty spring dresses for this first half of her session, since her style leans towards pretty and girly. I had such a great time with this smiley senior!

For this senior portrait session, this graduating senior wanted to incorporate some authentic vintage items from her own family, like this really interesting suitcase that matched her vintage inspired patch-work dress perfectly! We had the threat of spring storms in the air, but we managed to finish the session before the rain started and came back with some gorgeous airy portraits thanks to the diffuse clouds. The field was a perfect match for her pretty blue dress as well – blue is a colour that photographs wonderfully well for your senior portraits! Lastly, no senior session is complete without one outfit to pay tribute to your chosen university or college! Hook ’em!

This sweet girl was SO much fun to photograph, coming up with new poses with her gorgeous, gorgeous long hair. This is the first half of her senior portrait session in the Woodlands, with an more urban flair to incorporate her trendy wardrobe. My senior girls are always so fashion forward, with styles of their own, and completely down to earth and friendly, I always enjoying getting to spend time with them photographing their personalities.

One of the fun things about this job is seeing all the amazing outfits that my seniors put together to showcase their personal style! All the girls are so different, with their own ideas on how to style their session – from country chic, to earthy boho, to classic sophistication to trendy. Some seniors bring a special dress or tunic to match the colours of the university they will be attending come fall — like this beautiful girl with her sundress in UT colours! She also came exquisitely styled in a chic black romper with matching black hat, to add some dramatic flair to her senior session. Love the variety!

For this session, we were looking for urban elements to incorporate into her photoshoot – from the parking garage and it’s amazing light, to brick walls and textures, to the glass walls and street scenes. It all adds up to a very contemporary look for her session, fresh and modern with a bit of an edge!

This beautiful Woodlands High School senior wanted her senior portraits taken in a rustic style location, with lots of greenery and natural touches like the wooden fence, rocks and water. We found the perfect location with -bonus! – Texas bluebonnets! This session was altogether amazing, check out the first half of her senior portrait session, before we set up a gorgeous boho-in-the-field series at sunset. And no senior session is complete without taking pictures in your future university colours! Bring an outfit that represents your chosen school, and bring props (banners, signs etc) if you have them to really personalize your session.
