This sweet and smiley little one had his first birthday with a “Where the Wild Things Are” theme, and his parents set up these amazing beautiful props for his birthday portraits! Having regular portraits of your children as they grow is the best way to document their growth through the years, you’ll never regret having professional pictures of your children to treasure forever and share with family and friends.
For these portraits, we will choose a child friendly local location outdoors, or in your very own backyard as we did for this little one. Bring props you feel will add to the photoshoot, and have towels, snacks, water and extra outfits on hand throughout the shoot for variety!
At the end of the session, the birthday boy got an outfit change for his cake smash! This isn’t the type of session I normally do, since most cake smash sessions are done in studio and I work outdoors, on location. But if you have a nice flat, safe surface such as a back porch for the child to sit, it’s easy to set up!
