The Woodlands Senior Style – Hats, Headbands and Headpieces

For your senior pictures, adding a touch of whimsy, glam or style to your photoshoot is as easy as a simple accessory. Many of my senior portrait clients take their senior pictures to the next level with boho leather braided headpieces, flower garlands, beaded headbands or seasonal hats, to add a little flair!

This braided leather head wrap is all the rage for a boho inspired look. Organic and earthy, it goes well with simple outfits such as a white dress or sheath, or flowing shift dress.

For the boho look, the flower garland headpiece is always a popular choice and is really in style these days. Your flowers can be as simple or as elaborate as you want! Use colorful flowers and pair it with a white dress, string small blooms for a simple look, or match the flower color to the dress for overall color harmony.

This talented senior had not one, not two, but three unique headpieces for her senior session! The beaded crosses on her headband showcase not only her fun style but also make a statement about something important to her in her life, her faith.

I love how this quirky senior infused her senior portraits with her own unique personal style — geek chic glasses and a classic black knitted cap.

For fall portraits, this beautiful senior chose a simple cream sweater and jeans, and added her own personal touch of style with a knitted scarf and felt hat in earth tones. It’s always best to keep the clothing simple when you add accessories, to let them shine and take center stage.

For her spring session, this gorgeous girl opted for a seasonally appropriate sunhat for some shots against the spring blooms.
